WEAR Eric
An artist, educator and art historian, Eric Wear
was educated as a conceptual artist in America, Japan and England (a Rhodes
Scholar). Eric Wear first savours the smell of mown lawns, then natto, and
the play of words and images that has its many small currents in modern
European life. Now settled in Hong Kong, he has spent more than a decade
exploring the submerged continent of pre-modern Chinese taste. Eric is
Associate Head of the School of Design, the Hong Kong Polytechnic
University. He has three young daughters.
