No one has been knowing and building more city buildings in Hong Kong than Hong Kong architect Rocco Yim. Founded Rocco Design Associates in 1979 and thereafter joined by Mr Patrick Lee and Mr Bernard Hui in 1982, Rocco was also involved in various professional boards - Hong Kong Institute of Architects, Architects Registration Board, Energy Efficiency Advisory Committee, and Hong Kong Art Development Council. He is an Honorary Professor in Department of Architecture at the University of Hong Kong.

In 1979, Rocco Yim who had established its predecessor firm, Rocco Design Associates, founded Rocco Design, a HongKong-based multi-disciplinary architectural firm dedicated to the uncompromising fundamentals of architecture and its practice. Its work is guided by a persistent attention to the quality of the total environment. A sensitivity to users' needs and clients' expectations are very often reflected in the pursuit of a fine balance between the creative and functional dimensions of a project - the innovative and pragmatic elements of design, as well as construction budget and programmatic control.

Rocco Design was subsequently joined by partners Mr Patrick P W Lee and Mr Bernard M B Hui in 1980 and 1982 respectively.
