Theadora Whittington is an artist, illustrator & writer of children's books. It was while traveling extensively in China in the 1990s that she started to paint and draw, and learnt Chinese brush painting in Beijing with Liu Dawei. Soon afterwards she studied for a degree in Illustration at Cambridge School of Art in UK, and became a member of the Gainsborough House printmakers in Suffolk. She then moved to Hong Kong where she has written and illustrated 3 children's books and has exhibited her colourful work depicting the vibrancy of the festivals, myths and people of Hong Kong. She also has degree in theology & law. She still lives in Hong Kong in an old bungalow surrounded by jungle.
