Born in Hong Kong, Christina Yung studied in England from the age of 13, later earning a degree in Social Science and Administration from London University, before returning home to Hong Kong. Over the years, she has worked mainly in financial services sector, currently in digital banking. She lives in Tai Po, Hong Kong.

香港出生，十三歲到英國留學，在倫敦大學取得社會工作及社會行政學學士後回港，任職銀行。喝過洋水，嫁了英國人，文慧卻始終鍾情香港。近來，她由港島搬到大埔，希望跨區繼續她的尋找老店之旅。
